וַיִּשָּׂ֥א מְשָׁל֖וֹ וַיֹּאמַ֑ר מִן־אֲ֠רָם יַנְחֵ֨נִי בָלָ֤ק מֶֽלֶךְ־מוֹאָב֙ מֵֽהַרְרֵי־קֶ֔דֶם לְכָה֙ אָֽרָה־לִּ֣י יַעֲקֹ֔ב וּלְכָ֖ה זֹעֲמָ֥ה יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
At sinimulan niya ang kanyang talinghaga, at sinabi: “Mula sa Aram ako dinala ni Balak, ng hari ng Moab, mula sa mga bundok sa silangan: ‹Halika, sumpain mo para sa akin ang Jacob, at halika, tuligsain mo ang Israel.›”

And he took up the parable of his prophecy, and said: From Aram on Euphrates hath Balak king of the Moabaee brought me; from the mountains of the east come, curse for me the house of Jakob; come, for me make Israel small.
